Jewish Free Loan and
Jewish Family and Children Services

In the current economic crisis, community members are coming to Jewish Free Loan (JFL) and Jewish Family and Children Services (JFCS) in increasing numbers for their most basic human needs — shelter, food, utilities, and transportation.

Serious economic conditions which exist today have increased the demand for financial assistance beyond the capacity of either agency to respond to the increased needs. The two agencies have an outstanding working relationship in responding to those community needs, under the Jewish Free Loan Tzedakah Fund and the Jewish Family and Children Service Helping Hands Program. The two agencies have joined together to raise additional money for badly needed emergency grants.

Your generous support will enable the community to provide relief to Jewish families and individuals in the Valley who are on the edge of financial survival; assistance available through JFCS and JFL is oftentimes aid of last resort for those in need.
